Vipassana meditation retreat for beginners and advanced
Do you want to live a mindful life? In the beautiful and powerful surroundings of the mountains of central Sri Lanka, we will intensely explore our own minds in the Buddhist meditation of Vipassana and connect with our bodies through gentle yoga.
- Day 1
dinner and joint opening of the retreat at 18.30 h.
- Day 2
half day adaptation trip to Lankathilaka Temple, Gadaladeniya Temple Lunch, rest introduction to meditation.
- Day 3 – 8
Buddhist Vipassana meditation (insight meditation): sitting meditation, walking meditation. Yin Yoga: calm meditative yoga consisting of consciously performing postures. Dhamma talk: talks on the Buddha’s teachings time for individual and group interviews space for individual care.
- Day 9
Metta meditation: loving-kindness meditation. Breakfast and end of retreat, sharing.
Program may be adjusted according to the current situation. / Trips are paid for on-site in cash. / Course price and accommodations do not include transportation. / Some of the rooms can be equipped with an extra bed.
