What we often describe as “excess acidity” can, in Ayurvedic tradition, be understood as an imbalance in the pitta dosha—the fiery energy linked to heat, inflammation, and irritability, both physical and mental.

Excess acidity often indicates elevated pitta. Ayurveda gently brings this fiery energy into balance through cooling, calming, and detoxifying therapies.
🍽️ Tailored Nutrition (Ahara):
Guests are guided to embrace foods with cooling, sweet, bitter, and astringent qualities—think fresh vegetables, basmati rice, mung dal, ghee, coconut water, and soothing herbs like coriander and fennel.
At the same time, we help them reduce or avoid ingredients that aggravate pitta—such as spicy, fried, fermented, or acidic dishes.
🧘 Purification & Detox (Shodhana):
Signature Panchakarma programs, including therapies like Virechana (therapeutic cleansing), help remove excess pitta and restore inner clarity.
🌱 Herbal Support (Dravya):
Our practitioners incorporate time-honored herbal remedies:
• Amalaki – a deeply alkaline superfruit with cooling properties
• Guduchi – detoxifying and pitta-pacifying
• Aloe vera – calming to the digestive system and known to reduce inflammation
🌞 Daily Rituals (Dinacharya):
Guests are invited to reconnect with nature’s rhythm through gentle morning routines, yoga, cooling breathwork (like Sheetali Pranayama), and restorative sleep practices—ideally before 10 p.m.
